MIRROR KNOCKS

BY OPEYEMI OREAGBA

POEM

Knocks on the windows,
At midnight.
Leaping footsteps in rows
Lights out.

Creaking from behind,
Her heart skipped.
It was time to bind,
Held the torch.
The knocks once again,
She turned.
Her shock beyond complain,
The mirror knocks.
